Machine Not Always Booting
This post is for anyone that ever has an issue with the computer booting up when you flip the main power switch.
First press the soft shutdown button and see if that starts the PC boot process
If that works, power the machine down normally and then power it back up. It’s possible the softwa shutdown button got stuck previously.
If the PC still doesn’t boot up automatically, it’s possible your system BIOS reverted to default settings
Hit the soft shutdown button to start the PC up, and keep tapping the “del” key. This should bring you to the BIOS menu.
Use your mouse to click the power tab. The first entry’s should be AC BACK. Make sure this is set to “Always On”. If it isn’t just click the text and it should give you a drop down menu to change it back.
Click exit and save in the upper right
If that doesn’t fix the issue something else is wrong and you’ll need to reach out to Roland for support
